Luckily, something cheered me up after lunch. That helped. Plus…I went for a pedicure to pamper myself a lil’. HOWEVER…the girl was a trainee & boy, oh boy….did she take eons to paint my nails!!!! I wanted to scream…and think she painted like 4??? 5 coats of nailpolish??!!!! ARGH….that got me darn irritated as well.. I’m so irritable today…ugh. And unfortunately the not-so-fresh sushi in front me not really helpin’…

HE REALLY IS GETTIN ON MY NERVES!!!!!!

Lost my keys….the whole bunch!! So careless of me…I was carrying too much stuff on hand & rushing off to Gramps place & I guess I left it in the backseat of a dishonest cabbie.. And stupid me only realised when I was on my way back to 6MS..My pretty crown keychain!!! No keychain to use now…shit. And have to go duplicate all my keys again. Sigh……. Anyhow,  was homeless…lucky thing Frances happened to call me & she came down(her sweet hubby sent her) all the way to give me the shop key. With that, I was able to get my apt key & sleep on my bed. Otherwise, I would’ve probably have slept at the coffeeshop or outside the shop. Called a friend but no answer. That was a tad diasppointing, to be honest. —ALTHOUGH I know it was my fault for being so careless.

It’s a new week, with some new slightly edgy thoughts..kinda got me on tenterhooks..wondering about some stuff. Not very optimistic unfortunately.

Has everyone been busy lately?? Coz I have, for the past week. not that it has slowed down very much but it’s manageable…Craving to catch some movies though…seems this week is pretty packed-foot reflex on wed, facial on thursday, concert on fri(so damn far away!! imagine having to get back to 6MS after that…ugh.), Akuma mama’s house ‘warning’ on sat, dog walk on sunday…

Feel like a pedicure right now….. :P   Hmmmm…..think I’ll sit on that for a while.

Just met up with dear sis & went for a foot reflexology!! Very gooood……..:) Even signed up for the package. VERY worth it!! Haha even Sis signed up for it. Hee hee hee……I got another reflexology ‘kaki’ liao!! Tee hee hee….

We had a nice chat, went for a nice dinner and came back to play with Baileys for a little bit. Baileys dropped 2 teeth tonight!! Hahahahaha!!!!

But I was laughing at myself for being such an idiot. So funny! Hasn’t happened for some time but I’m still at work. It’s nice and peaceful being the only one here in the kitchen except for Gwen Stefani ‘holla-ing’ in the background. Not to mention much-loved ‘fresh‘ air.

I made photo stickers once again!! Gonna decorate the inside of my recipe-cum-all other info binder. :)  It’s half-filled on the front cover. Can’t wait to fill it up!

I think the start of August is gonna be quite ‘on the ball’! 2nd to the 5th I’m packed with stuff. Wah…..***sleepy…***

It had been a lazy dazy day…:P  So…decided to go easy, casual..frances & joey both said I looked VERY decent & not me. Bleargh!! I AM decent…!!! and ‘guai’…!!! Went to walk around suntec, went into an almost empty theatre for Harry Potter. Quite enjoyed it although I missed the other parts. Went CD shopping, and looked at some stuff otw. Was waiting for the bus back but the Old Chang Kee opposite was calling out to me… I gave in to temptation!!!! ARGH!!! Had the sotong head on stick. But ONLY 1 stick!!! hee hee…

Came back to 6MS and drank my 2 day old lotus root soup…yums….still craving for teochew porridge..*sluuurrrrrp!!* Oooops…..why am I suddenly craving for so many things??!!!

Was reading a magazine the other day & read about a place called Barracks at Dempsey Road…seems they serve pretty nice food & not expensive..tempted to try it out too…

It’s been a crazy morning BUT….good news is that I’m gettin off work now. Gonna bring Baileys out somewhere for a while. And I’m craving for the ramen… *slurp*!! Haven’t eaten that for some time already….

At gramps place & there was a fireworks display again.. It was really beautiful, reminded me of the time when someone was gonna give me a surprise. But it would’ve been even cooler if I was below, watching every burst of light brightening up the entire sky. Lasted quite a while, that gave me some time to drift off.

I got a really nice surprise later in the night though. One that was able to make me smile & keep me smiling even with this super heavy downpour this morning. Can’t even begin to tell you how ureshii I am. *grinning like an idiot*

Gonna start my meringue now…

Need I say more?? Went crazy buying DVDs….my fav HK drama serialsss…haha. I’m a sucker for ‘em. Sauntered up to Kino & couldn’t withstand the temptation…bought a wedding mag…and skimmed through the tattoo mag too…*grinz*. Whats even MORE tempting was Meidi-ya…heh…of course I went in!!

Bailey’s ain’t gonna sleep in my bed yet…but Spunky does. And he gets hugged to suffocation every single night. Poor thang….but it’s coz he’s so cuddly & smellsss Sooooooooooo gooooood……

I can definitely understand with regards to the wandering of thoughts. I still catch myself doing it. And I have to mentally tell myself to "QUIT IT!!!" With an imaginary smack on my face. Sigh….

I’m still fervently craving for Teochew porridge….it’s like having withdrawal symptoms….ugh…..to the point where I bought the pickled veg & I add boiling water to my rice during lunch. But…but…it just doesn’t cut it.

Yup, I’m a greedy bitch. Plus the fact that I work in a cake shop really DOES NOT help at all!!! Why the hell do you think I’m not slim & sexy? I work around food 24/7, goddamnit! :X

Must be psychological, but feels a little better after some ‘liquids’ My bottle cap opener seems to have taken a permanant vacation so I’ve to torture my poor tooth. Bottomline, I STILL get it opened.

Im gonna send a few of Baileys’s photo in for a contest..But I’ve gotta drop it off at the SPCA…guess I have to try to ‘psycho’ dad to send me there. Also, gonna sign up for the NDW(National Dog Walk). It’s happening on the 5th August but gonna register this Sat . More errands to run… Seem to have quite a bit of stuff to do…there’s a veterinary seminar at NUS..pet sale at Suntec, Mini Schnauzer gathering end month(I think) 2 concerts to attend….so far, that’s it(as far as I can remember at least. OR, I could get lazy and just watch DVDs at home.

No, I’m not talking about Jon Secada.. :P  My off day today was pretty uneventful. Had lunch with a friend who was feeling ‘off’ just so he can poke fun at me & cheer up abit hopefully.

Came back to the shop & started on an explanation that I owe someone very precious to me.

Watched dvds almost the whole day, bathed my dear Baileys, doing a little homework on my next tattoo, called a friend in NYC…gonna call another one in Miami. Hmmm..seems like I’ve been calling overseas quite abit. Oh, need to call Florida soon too…

I miss my treasured Monday nights. I miss feeling the sea breeze on my face. Miss the smell of your car(wierd, huh? :P) But all these will be committed dearly to my databank of memories, never to be forgotten. There’s nothing to be sorry or guilty about. Things happen for a reason(there should be a pretty good one here I think). Some not-so-nice stuff may actually be a blessing in disguise. Who knows? Things may happen now but it’s fluid, anything could happen, anytime.

But, in any case, I’m very glad to know you & remember that I appreciate all that you’ve done, am very grateful & you’ll always be a dear friend. Call anytime.

Hey Sis, I dreamt that we visited some really high tech neoprint machines & took some pretty cool shots!!! Had a lot of fun, we have to do it soon for real! Haven’t done that with you in ages! Shall we, shall we?
