Sucky day considering my dear dear colleague Sera tendered her resignation today. I thought our suggestion or plan might actually help thwart that for a while but it came quite suddenly this morning. I’m pretty sad considering the fact that she’s more than a norm friend to me now. We share quite a large bit in common and I can talk to her. I mean, REALLY talk to her, at different level, about different things. I think she’s God-sent. I’m thankful that I got to know her but I’m sad she has decided to leave. Although I know we’ll keep in touch. BUT….but that’s not the point!!

It’s really difficult employing someone. People never seem to stay for long..yeah I know, I can’t expect everyone to be as complacent as me. Period. Bah. Employers are picky & fussy, SO ARE the employees or (to-be prospective employees :P) and DOESN’T HELP when the govt is so darn strict on foreign workers and giving out work permits!!!! I know it’s good for us but when you find someone who can truly help you(and you’ve already gotten used to having that help!!) then find out later that she can’t get her work permit???!!!!!! Damn DAmn DAMn DAMN!!!!!

Another thing, while shopping the other day…(I didn’t think I’d ever get tempted but) I came across the PSP….*GASP* My head was ticking and contemplating on buying the piece of thing…shrugged it off after a while and said ‘nah….it’s just this piece of thing that you play dumb & expensive games on…’ —-

—–yesterday on the bus, a group of Jap school guys came up & every single one of ‘em had a PSP!!! ARGH!!! 1 of ‘em sat beside me & I had the opportunity to sneak a peek at it in motion…LO & BEHOLD!!!! I WANT IT!!!! I WANT IT!!!!! …….geez…..another thing on my ‘want’ list right now…TSK.

After the over enthusiastic reflexologist did a stunt on my right foot the other day…I have a flat & purple foot! The middle of my foot is pretty badly bruised & swollen & I have different shades of purple on it!! Amazing huh??!!! I’ll post a pic of it soon. Tee hee hee…

Today’s my dear cuzzie’s birthday..went to Toast for lunch…fantastic food-I had the chicken caesar salad with cold pasta. YUMS!! He had the sandwich & apparently it was MUCH better than subway. Hmmmm…..think I gotta try & judge it for meself. Which, incidentally means that I would HAVE to go again. Bwahaha. I actually suggested going to the Turf club & try our hands at horse betting but he wasn’t up for it. While going through the turf club’s website, I came across a jockey training academy & I must say taht I’m REALLY tempted! idea…idea…Heh heh heh…Anyhow, we were supposed to go Sentosa for the Go-carts & 4D show but it rained zoos the entire day. ugh……..

We spent the entire afternoon at Vivo City..Brought him to Kim Gary & had HK desserts(got him hooked again!) & caught a movie-One Last Dance. I’m totally in love with the movie & the soundtrack(which is not out yet..bummer!). Not to mention, drooling at Francis Ng. Wooooo…………Yum Yum!

So…Thanks to B for a great supper & company AND to my dear cuzzie for letting me spend his birthday with him! Sorry it wasn’t too entertaining! I’m sure you’ll make it up by having more drinks at Dbl O though!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!! Ended up going for some drinks at En Lounge with a friend. I had a nice, very relaxed time. It was fun chatting & laughing. We people-watched too! Added bonus..??? They were showing Tom & Jerry on the TV screens!! Haha…I enjoyed my simple, ‘down-to-earth’(???!!!!) late countdown very , very much.
