I’ve been so lazy to blog… anyhow…competition over, went to HK with Sis. Terribly, Terribly, Awfully TERRIFIC vacation!!! Did you even think it would be otherwise? Ha. It was great being able to cover Disneyland & Ocean Park. The new Shark aquarium was packed like a tin of sardines!! Even the sardines in the can have more space! That alone was already a killjoy. The main ‘tank’ had SO much fish & corals & SO little space…looked WAY too crowded for all of them. Poor things…And imagine us talking about having no privacy. BAH!

Sis & I went on the space mountain *TWICE*!! Can you believe that?! I honestly did! And I have pictures as PROOF, ok!! But poor sis lost her digicam there…along with all the photos we took at each MTR station we were at, plus…our dear, dear Ka Kui & pics we took with him…sigh. But, we’ll be there to see him again…hopefully soon. Miss him so, so much. Other than that…the view from the Permanent Cemetary is GREAT! We took the time to take in the beautiful view. AWESOME.

Through the trip, I’ve come to detest Koreans(esp women) & Cheenas(both sexes). They are OBNOXIOUS!!!! Sickeningly irritating that I hope they trip over their own feet while walking. Humph!

We did ALOT of shopping, **moderate** eating. Hee hee… Food everywhere  was Superb. Especially the desserts…OOOhhhhhhhh YUM YUM.

I must say…Our concierge, Alex, was the greatest help there. He’s a Beyond fan & so nice!!! For all the help & kindness he’s shown to us, we bought him a cake on the last day! I fell in love with the bed in Eaton Hotel…Oh my god…they’re all white & inviting…I MUST transform my bed!!

I went bag crazy in HK!!! I was all over ‘em there! I think I bought like 3 bags!! Hee… They’re fantastic! I saw this skirt with a pretty embroidery on the back pockets..wanted them for a tattoo reference..Was supposed to take a photo of it in the changing room but ended up trying it on & loving it.Damn……Bought it immediately only to realize, back at the hotel(when doing accts), that it actually costs so much!!! Oooopsie…

Latest IMPT news: my aunt Jesse’s gettin married!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! I’m so happy for her! Only sad thing is that she’ll be leaving for the U.S. to live happily ever after with Joe….means I won’t get to see her much.  That’s how it always is..only to realize the importance of someone when they’re leaving or have left. So….next part: last minute decision to go to Layang Layang with the Akuma gang. Just wanna spend some time with my aunt. So…Came back to SG to work for about 4 days then scoot off to the island for my 7 precious days of the sun & the sea. PARADISE!! So I went to work the day I had to leave for my trip(11th May) due to major photo shoot. And I heard poor boss had to take all the shit from the shits. Coz she was leaving for Japan on the 15th too & we would have 3 days overlapping of which both of us would be absent.

About 45min just before I had to grab a cab to go off, someone messaged me to ask me out for lunch & my sweet boss let me off….:) So wierd…I was even more convinced that I wasn’t gonna make it back alive…Thought maybe the Goddess let me see him one last time before I die! Ha.

Anyhow…the diving was so-so, only a few fwah fwah  things but overall we were quite disappointed. Company was GRWEAT though! The AKUMA gang..!! Comprises of Akuma mama kawaii san, Chibi kujira san, commanado san, Shiri yasashii san, uncle moon, Hachimitsu san, uncle moonie, benoit(not sure if correct spelling) & me(pink tako san). We saw a whole school of scalloped hammerheads, devil rays, many dolphins that jumped & swam alongside our boat after one of our dives!! Hardly any macro life…*sob* Only caught sight of 1 coral shrimp about 3cm long & that almost caused me to lose track of my group! SCARY! The current was so strong that I had to use all my energy to fin over to the rest of them which was quite some distance…thank goodness my buddy kept track..thanks gu jie!!! hee hee…

I kept going into deep waters that akuma mama had to pluck me and grab me to stay shallow…sorry….. I saw this funny thing that had moving yellow neon lights!!! Aka alien!! but so cool…plus plenty of wierd coloured squiggly wormy-looking things in thin transparent membranes…

Well, we had alot of fun, for sure!!! Diving is sheer ecstacy man! I hope we get to go to Maldives next year!!! Came back to the shop with plenty of work to do….ugh…..

BTW, M’sia airlines sucks…gave us so much trouble on our way back. Boarding time was supposed to be 1.35pm. 2pm & no announcement on why we were still waiting outside the gates. Went to enquire & they told us that there were technical difficulties & didn’t know what time they’ll be done repairing. Apparently the engine died or smething. So we went for lunch and waited for news. Later on about 4+pm, heard that we may have to stay 1 more night! Made alot of noise - a few of us had to be back in SG due to work so ended up having to take a flight to KL(had to transit at Labuan first) then another flight back to SG. We were set back 9 hours!!! Dumb people. While waiting for our baggage….guess what?? THEY DON’T HAVE OUR BAGGAGE!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that??!!! They misplaced it & have to look for it so in the event they DO find it, they’ll deliver it to our houses…All in all…we all got home about 2am after all the hustle & bustle. How crappy is that??? And all they compensated us with was nuggets form KFC for everyone(lunch) & dinner vouchers for use in KL airport(fixed meal, no choice of food). Fucked up man…

And now…..awaiting for news of my France trip… Now I’m still busy checkin stuff out for my aunt’s wedding…& planning a weekend trip to HK again with commanado san…to meet up with chibi kujira san & to EAT EAT SHOP SHOP!!!! Woo hoo….!!!!!!!!!!! Well, the peeps are I heard going to Bangkok so… oh, whatever…. Anyway my boss ain’t going so….BLEARGH!!!!! And at the end of the year……might…MIGHT go to the U.S….!!!!! :)

Seems like it’s gonna be quite an eventful year…with lotsa flying around. Cool! I’ve never flown around the world so many times in a year! CCCOOOOLLLLL!!!!! Although I hate the flights but…I’m going to different places & seeing different things..I can’t stop grinning!

I’m not the only one going places, it seems…The Patissier seems to be everywhere, magazines, newspapers, tv….WOAH!!!!!

I’m lookin forward to this wed…Oli’s coming to the shop to make us Shepherds’ Pie & ‘textured’ Mashed Potatoes!!!! YUMSIE!!!!! *slurp* Aiyah…..enough for now…sorry this is a long post - AGAIN!!!!!

I’m glad this is over & done with! *wink* I’m sleepy…
