One of my dance classmates got asked to join a competition! *envious* I’m so excited for him! My partner was asked to get a fixed partner(which meant me-Aleena forgot about me… :c) so that he might join too! We were discussing whether to join the competition but decided against it coz you had to PAY to join the competition & you have to take up private lessons, which means spend more $$!! Anyways, we’d probably try for next year?? Practise hard meanwhile lor..Went home to tell mom about joinin the competition but I hated the thing that came out straight from her mouth. Pissed me off right there & then. ‘I got no money hor. Anyway you’re not good enough to join.’  So?? Did I even ask her for the bloody cash in the 1st place?? Of course I know I’m not good enough to join. But all I want is some support! Not cold, freezing water poured down my head! Btw, I’m actually thinkin, just thinkin of takin up rock ‘n’ roll too…it’s so fun!!! Any takers??

Got a cheap retreat to the spa yesterday @ Changi Meridien Hotel! Shiok!!! It was a whole 3 hours of pampering! Went with SY, Jesse & Jackie. 1 hour of massage + scrub, 1 hour of hot jacuzzi & 1 hour spent doin the odds & ends like showering, using of the steam bath & sauna. It was SOOOOO good!! There were snacks & drinks provided too! Felt like a tai-tai! Hahahaha! After that, we had to rush to meet SY’s wedding planner. Discussion of the plans & such… followed by a free dinner buffet which….sad to say, wasn’t up to our standards. Fried rice had grains of undercooked rice in it, prawns weren’t very fresh, broccoli was overcooked & had some fishy taste, didn’t try the desserts coz SY said they outsourced them…Eeeeee…..anyway they certainly didn’t look good at all. So, Bleargh.

We stopped at a junction & I saw an Indian temple. That made me ask P & SY if they knew where the Loyang temple is coz I had absolutely no inkling where it is. So P said he knew & so we all decided to head there for a praying session! I was so in awe when we got there! And so cuckoo, I didn’t know what to do. Take what, do what…dunno.. In the end, whatever P did, we folloowed suit. Hee hee. Baka yo!! Need to go for chinese temple culture. The Do’s & the Don’ts! The temple’s kinda cool, Other than the Chinese Deities, there were statues of the Goddess Lakshmi, Durga & Lord Ganesha. When I offered the joss sticks at Lord Ganesha’s altar, the sweet smell of jasmine bowled me over…so nice…didn’t wanna leave. I’d even like to go for an Indian temple culture too!!! Would be so interesting! Anyway, prayed that my family & people closest to me stay healthy & happy always….amongst other things… :P  Appreciate it people!!!

Just sad that I couldn’t make it to meet Sis last night…miss her so much. Feel like I haven’t seen her in ages…was supposed to meet her earlier for a jog but I totally forgot I had to meet SY’s wedding planner…Dumb me..

It’s a DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY HAVE to go situation! It’s their last farewell concert… We’ve been griping & complaining that they’ve split up for so long, even gone to M’sia for their farewell concerts but not here… Ha! They’ve probably saved the best for last.. We, Singapore fans, are the BEST! heeheehee…. *big round of applause!*

I got a shocker message last night..Just 2 words among the whole message but it’s been in my head for the longest time. I couldn’t…. I don’t know how I should be reacting to it. Or whether I should react to it. It’s really sweet, but from the wrong person. Or is this gonna be a start to somewhere else? Can I or should I make that start? Is it fair? There are so many what ifs… hhmmmm… maybe I’ll not think about it. Yup. I’ll just do that.

Kerry & James came over to see my sketch for their wedding cake..stressed…but it got approved!!! I’m so excited! And we’re gonna get ready to wrap their favours too!!! Woo hoo!!!

It’s 10.35pm & I’m workin alone in the shop. Real cool to be workin alone in the kitchen with Class 95 in the background(on a higher volume than usual, of course!) Why?? Because O.Cho was here filmin an episode of Shooting hoshi here @ The Patissier. Cool ain’t it? They were here at 8.30am this mornin. Right up till 8.30pm a few hours ago. So, could hardly do any work today ‘cept the decoration in the mornin which they filmed as well…!(shake head) ……. But intensely interesting! One of the female crew thought that my job was cool & me vice versa! Hmmm….. Someone was wearing a real nice deep red jacket… & I was practically droolin…. guess who??!!

And yesterday, P. Mok & B. Wong came to do an episode of the shopping program. Super wacky people..She was wearin a nice, pretty little fuschia pink tee with the word ‘Queen’ in shiny stones… Aw man!!! I’m jealous!!!

It’s been such a star-studded 2 days that all of us at the shop are covered with shiny star dust! Keep your eyes peeled in Aug & Sept peeps! It’s been a real excitin & most interesting 2 days! So what if I sound superficial??!!

Oh, I’d like to thank Yaz for sendin me a reply last night after my dedication. So sweet of you! I really appreciate it! Wish I could send you a cake…..hmmmm…I wonder how??

D.C’s got a job today! And it’s paying really well for a start! I’m so happy for her! CONGRATS girl! Doesn’t mean I ain’t jealous, doesn’t mean I ain’t envious. But I’m happy for you & still super happy with my job. So…. you get my point!

And Sis…I’m so excited for you too! Can’t wait to hear your pc of good news! I’m sure it’ll come in good time. Or rather no time at all.

Work, work, work. All week. Finally Friday night!! SY, P & I bought tix to go to the Cha Cha Cha night at Raffles Town Club! Inclusive of a buffet dinner. Food was mediocre, dessert super sucked… BUT….the dancing was Fabulous!! Sunny Low Dance Studio had this Thai couple(Dance champions) come in to do a few dances for us… once they started dancing…the air around seemed to sparkle! They had this chemistry when dancing..indescribable. Plus….her costumes made her even sexier than she already was…wow….

Everybody was dancing, both the amateurs & the experienced, people who danced solely because of their passion for dancing, a handful who danced PURELY for showing off(Shameless & disgusting!!), & those who danced simply for the sake of dancing..it was an interesting blend. But apart from the incredibly fantastic dancing, SY & I were so amused at the tai-tais there…they all brought along their ‘toy-boys’!! Pretty good looking & amongst that few, there were a number of ah bengs, both chinese & malay. Surprisingly enough, they were all pretty good dancers. Skilled in quite a number of dances! Fwah!! I’m definitely impressed! You can imagine the amount of gossip going around!!

There was this mini cha cha competition & there was this brother & sister team. They were so sweet! The girl was probably about 8ish years old & her brother maybe 10 to 12 years old?? something like that. They were such a cute couple! And they really could dance! Am I jealous or am I jealous??

Saw a range of dances: rhumba, salsa, rock & roll, cha cha, foxtrot, waltz, jive..etc etc…. oh man…I want to learn everything!! Sucky that I don’t have a partner. Damn!

Last night was a real eye-opener, I really enjoyed myself SO much. I must go again!! Seeing them dance makes me wanna go on the dance floor too! But…with much more practice first! Ha!

Had a great mini celebration last night for my younger niece’s birthday! I was SO late…*blush* So embarassing!! Mummy & sis kept a lil’ food for me…so sweet…!!! Ended up making a real sour cake- Passionfruit mousse with maltesers..& a mango jelly… I wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out when I did it tho’. But, I was sure my sis & Mummy would like it coz it’s sour & not too sweet! Elder sis told Happy that I bought discounted roti prata as her birthday cake & you could literally see the ‘disappointment’ on her face! Poor thing! As if buying roti prata wasn’t bad enuff! Ha!

As it turned out, it was real sour.. "A real wake up call"-> was what Raymond said! Hee hee…I was surprised when Happy ate a 2nd piece coz I didn’t think she would have liked the sour cake! When I saw that smile & that look on Sis’s face…I knew then that it was real sour. It was probably a thumbs up from her & an ‘uh oh’ for the rest of the gang! And we managed to finish the whole cake! BRAVO!! I hope everyone liked the cake tho’…plus, I’ve decided to name the cake HAPPY.

Went off to meet Shawn for a movie. Brought a piece of Chocolate Fudge for him(as was owed!) Stupid thing was, We weren’t allowed to bring the cake into the cinema! Crap. So it had to be deposited at the F & B counter by the theatre staff, and collected after the show. Sis & jiefu joined us tho’ not seated together. My 2nd Initial D movie! Still enjoyed it so much! Damn! I can watch it yet another time… Well, of course it’s not just the eye candy(drooool….) but the car racin’ as well…shiokadelic! When we went out to collect Shawn’s cake, dumb thing was, they took like 10mins or so to find it! So inefficient & disorganised! Lucky thing they found it, otherwise, I would’ve made them compensate me! Hump!! Yeah yeah…unreasonable bitch. La la la la.

But poor jiefu, I feel so bad you lost your ‘W’….guilty coz i asked you both to catch the movie as well…SORRY…. I do hope you get it back! Otherwise, curse the asshole who took it! But, on the whole, I enjoyed myself last night. Fantabulous!! Love spendin time with my family.

Man….I’m cravin for alcohol again….mmMMmm…Shooters…..Yummy!!! And Chibi san asked me to go for a live aboard dive trip in Aug…argh….so tempted!! Darn….

It’s someone’s birthday today..Of course I sent a HB message but I’m being ignored! Well, can’t be helped I guess. What can I do?  Maybe he’s SO busy with work & don’t wanna pester him.

I’m so happy for Sis she’s gettin started on her dream path!! WOO HOOO!!! Way to go Sis!! SUGOI GAMBATTE NE!!! *cheering*

Finished work early today…3 croquembouches…bleargh… at least they’re small ones.. Feeling darn sleepy today…and stomach hurts like hell!!! Probably the ’sour’ sambal prawn I ate last night…damn painful, couldn’t work fast. So fed up with myself. Hate it when I do things slowly.

Another thing, if people are so free, why can’t they do the simple things? Do I seem so free? Don’t I have to work? Gimme a break people. If the situation is such that it can be handled by you, why can’t you just bloody go ahead & DO IT!! I don’t have a life, but I HAVE A JOB, OK??!!! pissed off….

Now…after some bacardi breezer, I can breathe & calm down… mmmm….nice cold bacardi!!! YUMMIE!!!

My poor sista’s so fed up with work…so poor thing… Wish I could SMACK all the faces of the people who pissed her off & made her unhappy… And that IDIOT she was talking about…*shake head*shake head*shake head* SHAME ON YA!!! Why do YOU have to make people so disappointed in you??  Weezer….

My 2 dear friends have helped me move the furniture around in the apartment…time to clean up & move in!! FINALLY!! Woo Hoooo!!! So happy!

Found out just yesterday that one of my colleagues, Chee Leong, is also avid fan of Beyond’s!! Had a great conversation about their songs & stuff. So cool! Another common topic we have!

My boss showed me the new bridal mag she just bought & oh my goddess…the gowns by Melissa Sweet are AWESOME!!! They are *oh-so-pretty*!! French lace….beads….embroidery… geez…..*drools…..*

3rd lesson of my dance last night! We just started Tango. Pretty cool. And it’s not as complicated as Slow Foxtrot…..yet. That’s the magic word: yet. Oh well…

Met up with my 2 dear friends for lunch today. Yummy chicken teriyaki set & grilled shisamo….followed by a cheesecake at NYDC! Sinful!! And I’m supposed to try to lose weight!

Why do people sound so different on the phone & on sms? Some may seem pretty funny or quirky on sms but so serious or quiet on the phone. Or it may be with a loved one, someone whom you think would be nicely surprised when you call them….but all you get is a feeling that they’re trying to brush you off. How do you really tell who truly are your friends & who’ll stand by you through anything?  Eg. Your buddy, can be SO close to you for a period of time, supportive & the whole package but once they’re upset with you, nothing counts. Nothing matters. All the ups & downs you’ve been through together, all the promises that you’ll stay together no matter what…all thrown out the window. Simple as that. WTF?? Why do people do that?  Don’t they know it HURTS? And they can tell you that they’re mature adults. Is that how mature people handle things? Or do mature people tend to or prefer to escape from reality/facts/things they have to handle & face? Another face of ‘maturity’ I guess. *shrugs*
